Wandering the Neighborhood

I spent the evening wandering around taking pictures of some of the streets and businesses around my neighborhood. Apparently there are a lot more bars than I had realized! It is a very eclectic and inviting atmosphere that I feel very comfortable living in.

The marketplace is only a couple of blocks away from me. Whether I want organic bananas, or $150 Balsamic vinegar, I can find it here.

This is where I spend my time on the internet, They have this amazing tea called Evening Jazz that I could sip forever, yummy pastries and doughnuts that will make me fat, and free WiFi!

The Uptown Theater is pretty awesome, and that Thai restaurant has the best name ever, even if it isn't as wrong as it sounds!

This will be my financial downfall! I have already spent a couple of hours perusing the used CD section and found a million thing I wanted, not to mention the short look through their new stuff! Terrible and wonderful all at the same time.

There you go, some of the hot spots of my neighborhood. There are also a ton of cute old houses and brick buildings that are very nice. I think I will be living here a while.

New Year, Newness...

So, I have decided to wipe everything clean and start over in this New Year, at least in the blog sense.
2009 so far has started out pretty good, I spent most of the day cleaning up my apartment after the new years party with The Girl Squad~

To explain, The Girl Squad consists of Me, Brooke Barrett, Sara Stewart, Daphne Greenwood and Kristi Clark. With honorary members being, Ryan and Dewain. Really, it isn't much of anything except a bunch of us that have been hanging out together perfecting the plans to take over the world. This is one of those such meetings, with Dewain being absent.

To further explain, I finally have my own apartment after a long and arduous search! I finally found the balance between cuteness and affordability in the neighborhood that I wanted. I live about two blocks up from the base of Queen Anne Hill. I'll get pictures of the apartment and the neighborhood soon. I absolutely love it!

Here is a preview of the view from my front door-

Pretty sweet!

Alright then, happy new year, and all that newness.

Till next time.
